About Clear Space Garage & Closet Storage Solutions
A family-owned small business
The inspiration for Clear Space Garage & Closet came to Lance and Cindy Lamborghini in 2012 when Hurricane Sandy visited Cape Cod. Instead of just hunkering down, they decided to clean their garage. While the storm roared outside, the couple was turning over ideas inside: Cindy had recently been laid off from her long-time career in grocery retail customer service and Lance was ready to start winding down his nearly 30 years of the construction and remodeling business was looking for something new.
As they cleaned and painted, an idea formed. Earlier, while searching online for new storage options for their garage, Cindy had found high-quality, American-made RedLine Garagegear powder-coated cabinets designed specifically for garages, but the Illinois-based company didn’t have a retailer in Massachusetts. The couple realized they had found their opportunity: the Lamborghinis would go into business together selling and installing garage cabinets and closet systems.
Today, Clear Space Garage & Closet Storage Solutions is pleased to offer RedLine Garagegear powder-coated wood garage cabinets, and RedLine Closet Systems to homeowners in the Cape Cod region. Clear Space covers the Massachusetts counties of Barnstable, Plymouth, Bristol, and Norfolk.
Clear Space owner, Lance Lamborghini, is a fourth generation descendent of the Lamborghini family that settled on Cape Cod in the early 1900s. Lance attended Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Building Construction Technology. For the past 30 years Lance has run a successful building and remodeling company on Cape Cod.
Cindy Lamborghini also grew up on Cape Cod having been born on Otis Air Force Base and was a customer service rep for a large New England supermarket chain for twenty-eight years.

An area magazine recently interviewed the couple about their business. Lance said “I’ve been an all-around carpenter for so long, I’ve done everything: sidewall one day, tiling a bathroom the next, building kitchen cabinets the next…absolutely everything! I was getting pretty tired after thirty years of that. Now I’m so busy – I’m going all the time, day and night, and I’m not complaining at all. I love it.”
Cindy agrees. She’s thrilled to have found a second career that allows her to grow professionally alongside her husband. “I turned in the heels, the skirts and the jackets and got out the jeans, the T’s and the work boots. I even got a new belt – a tool belt! It’s been a great experience so far.”
